Col is a Personal Trainer with Cert 111 and 1V in Fitness. He has also completed the Level 1 Triathlon Coaching Course.

Col has completed The Biomechanics Method Corrective Exercise Trainer certification course which is regarded as the premier step-by-step corrective exercise education program for personal trainers. This course is designed to teach personal trainers how to effectively work with people who have musculoskeletal imbalances and associated muscle and joint pain. This revolutionary approach to musculoskeletal pain relief incorporates structural assessments, corrective exercise techniques and life coaching strategies into a system that makes improved function and pain-free living a reality for people plagued by poor musculoskeletal health. The course is recognized and accredited internationally by the world’s largest and most respected fitness organisations. Col will also liaise with your current medical practitioner, physiotherapist and/or exercise physiologist to ensure that you achieve the best possible outcome.

Col has also completed the Revolution Running course which includes study in the following:

  • Running technique
  • Running training
  • Running workouts – training programs from 5k up to marathon
  • Running injuries
  • Running for weight loss
  • Running programs for gyms
  • Running treadmill training
  • Running coaching

Col has competed in triathlons for some years (distances ranging from sprint to Ironman). He has also participated in adventure racing, fun runs, marathons, mountain bike riding and rogaining. Col enjoys helping people of varying abilities and fitness levels.  He has a great way of enabling people to enjoy exercise without feeling intimidated or judged. Col can also tailor programs to help you train for a specific goal such as a fun run.
